Louis Grant Nuzzi, age 72, died peacefully at his home in Laguna Woods Village on Tuesday, May 15. Born in Los Angeles and a graduate of John Burroughs High School in Burbank, he went on to serve his country in the US Navy and later attended Valley Junior College in Van Nuys. Lou worked at Singer-Librascope in Glendale as Senior Electronic Technician for more than 18 years followed by more than 21 years as an Air Pollution Instrument Technician for the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
Lou moved his family to Mission Viejo in 1971. He was proud of his Southern California heritage. He loved the beach, a good cigar, and a fine glass of red wine. He also loved the Lakers. Married for 45 years, he is survived by his wife Glenda, his son Jeff and his wife Suzanne, his daughter Janet and her husband Dan, and four wonderful granddaughters. He will be deeply missed and long remembered by all for his kindness, his friendship, and his love for his family.
Memorial Services and Reception
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 25, at 1:00 PM at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, 949-581-4300. A reception will follow at Laguna Woods Village Clubhouse 6:
